My quest:
Read 1001 books. My reading material lately has been a litany of cyncial bloggers and journalists shaking their heads at the hypocrisies and injustices of the world. It's interesting stuff, but it's time to move on.
I chose a list at random on the internet, since I have a feeling most lists of this kind hit similar themes/authors.
First on the list: "Rudin" and "A King Lear of the Steppes" by Ivan Turgenev. I'll post my thoughts as I read the stories--what inspires me, confuses me, makes me laugh, makes me cry.
In an effort to save money and reduce waste, I'm getting all my books from the library.
